Its the little things that matter most, like our home made seville orange and passion fruit marmalade. We juice the oranges and finely cut the peel, it's never minced. The marmalade is worked in small batches on our Aga and the addition of fresh passion fruit juice and seeds towards the end of the cooking gives our marmalade a unique flavour and unusal quality. We think we pay the same attention to everything we grow, prepare, cook and serve to our guests.
The rhythm of our menus is governed by the seasons and respects the fundamentals of nature and the growing season. There is a strong emphasis on fresh ingredients from our kitchen garden and from local organic growers and artisan producers.
Our cooking is creative and contemporary with generous flavours, combining the best of local and regional produce with influences from our extensive travels around the globe.
At Kilgraney the pace in the dining room is always leisurely and the culinary style is distinctly fresh and light.
Dinner, a lavish seven course seasonal menu, is served in the cherub-adorned dining room at 8.15pm. Pre-dinner drinks are available in the drawing room from 7.00pm.
